The View from Sunset Point

 

The next morning Virginia + Ken ate breakfast, checked out of the hotel, and got into the park by about 8:30 AM. They decided to walk the Rim Trail from Sunset Point to Sunrise Point. It is the easiest trail in the park – somewhat level and basically paved – and runs along the top side of the rim. Ironically, this view from Sunset Point was taken more or less at sunrise.
